Dot Colony's art (backgrounds, the log, splats, icons and interface art) and its audio (sound effects and music) were made with the help of generative AI tools during development, then curated, edited and composited by the team. The dots themselves are drawn in code. The same applies to the store page and marketing materials. Nothing is generated by AI while you play.
